Daniel B.
Private tutor in Englishtown, NJ
Education
I graduated from Muhlenberg College with a double major in philosophy and religious studies cum laude with a 3.6 GPA. At Muhlenberg, I was in both the religious studies honors society and the philosophy honors society. I then got my masters degree from the University of Chicago in philosophical ethics and achieved a 3.6 GPA.
Experience
When I was younger I tutored Hebrew to Bar-Mitzvah bound students. My most recent teaching endeavor was a lecture series entitled "Why do Bad Things Happen to Good People in the Context of Salvation Ritual" given to the adult education group of my old Synagogue. Scored the top 11th percentile on the GRE. I want to be a tutor because I want to give students the means to succeed in a higher education setting. I have studied with the best and brightest from wonderful colleges/universities that have pushed me to navigate complicated and diverse texts from a variety of perspectives. The art of writing and reading critically became my chief skills to accomplish my academic goals. I took courses ranging from "Philosophical Issues of Quantum mechanics" to "The Ethics of Albert Camus". At Muhlenberg College, received the Noel R. and Edith J. Moyer Award in Philosophy for philosophical excellence in quality of work and class participation.

Hobbies
I am a creative, caring, goal oriented person. If I am not deep within the trenches of a dense philosophical text, I am working on my prose or spending time with my family on the farm. I feed and water horses regularly. Furthermore, I enjoy participating in community service events and I intend to go to law school soon.
